State school board praises Fit4Me
In April the Kentucky Board of Education publicly commended Southern Leadership Academy Middle School for piloting Fit4Me, the program Women 4 Women is sponsoring in partnership with Bellarmine University, the University of Louisville Athletics Department and Louisville Metro Government. The board and Department of Education Commissioner followed up with a letter of commendation to Southern Principal Anita Jones for "addressing a tremendous need by addressing obesity and healthy eating habits. It is also wonderful that the woman is supported through so many partners, including the Women 4 Women organization!"
Until next time,
