 | Women 4 Women Board Gets Surprise Visitor
 | Muhammad Ali visits with the Women 4 Women Board of Directors
| During their meeting at the Muhammad Ali Center, the Women 4 Women Board of Directors had a surprise visitor: Muhammad Ali, himself.
Muhammad Ali Center President and CEO Mike Fox said about the meeting "Muhammad Ali and I were privileged to not only welcome the Board of Women 4 Women to Muhammad's center, but to extend the gratitude and admiration of our entire community for their service in the identification and development of programs to improve the lives of women and girls of the greater Louisville area."
He continued, "Their dream to see that women and girls someday meet their full potential, economically, socially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually supports the dream of Muhammad and Lonnie Ali that led to the recent development of their international center headquartered in their hometown. Both organizations are harmoniously committed to helping individuals 'be the greatest they can be' and, in so doing, see that such efforts ultimately lead to the strengthening of our community."
Women 4 Women Wants Your Stories
If you have made an important "connection" through Women 4 Women, we want to hear about it. Perhaps you sat next to someone interesting at our Annual Luncheon that led to a new job opportunity or learned about a community resource in our e-news that made a difference in your life, etc. Whatever your story, we'd love to hear about it. Please send it to lynn@w4w.org. | |

 | | Financial Coaching Update |
 | Karla Perrin (right) met with her new financial coach, Treva Donnell, at the March 28 event.
| Women 4 Women kicked off the Financial Education Coach Network on March 28 with 15 trained Coaches matching up with 15 women who completed the Financial Success workshops at either Spalding University or Community Action Partnership. These teams will work together for the next six months to create strategies for each woman to maximize her knowledge and connections to financial resources in Louisville.
We are seeking more volunteers to join the W4W Coach Network. UofL will host the next coach training for new volunteers on May 17. This group will be connected to their participants on June 25. Click here for more information. To sign up, contact Margo Waddell (mwaddell@famlit.org or 584-1133 x130).
