4 Bold Goals
Women 4 Women and our partners have developed 4 Bold Goals and 4 Bold Solutions to address the challenges that girls, women and families face in our community. Below are the actions we are taking to change lives:
4 Bold Goals: The 2020 Dream
- Economic Well-Being: Substantially improve the economic well-being of 20,000 women and girls in our community
- Health: Substantially improve the health of women and girls in our community and significantly reduce obesity, smoking and teen pregnancy
- Connections: Connect women and girls from every corner of our community to each other to share knowledge, resources and networks to strengthen our entire community
- Funding: Build a $25 million fund to ensure a sustainable revenue stream of funding to create and maintain one of the best places for women, girls and their families to live and work

4 Bold Solutions: The 2010 Plan
- Economic Well-Being: Measurably improve the financial decision-making of 3,000 women and girls
- Health: Produce and ensure implementation of the Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation Fit 4 Me, a gender-specific inclusive health and self-esteem program to improve the health of 10,000 girls and their families
- Connections: Develop a program that connects 5,000 women and girls to each other to share knowledge and support, and to organize and promote existing resources in an easy and useful way
- Funding: Establish a community-based endowed fund at The Community Foundation of Louisville called “The Fund 4 Women and Girls” and raise the initial $10 million
